Jordan de Ruiter is a fashion and surface pattern designer who not only designs and creates for her own slow fashion label, but also works with the unique needs of other slow fashion brands, both start ups and established companies.

A love for vintage inspired, whimsical pieces led her to create her clothing line while still in college. She started her eponymous label to cater to a fun and feminine clientele who are inspired to play dress up in their everyday lives. Her work is often colorful & feminine and ranges from casual dresses, skirts, tops & lingerie to cocktail dresses & wedding dresses.

She has expanded her business to include creative and technical freelance work for other fashion labels. With over 15 years of experience in fashion design, she has expertise in creating clothing from sketch through to the final garment. This gives her an in depth knowledge of what it takes to create a high quality garment.

She attended George Brown College for fashion design to further her skill and knowledge of the industry and after graduating worked for a variety of companies in the daywear & bridal fields, eventually launching the Jordan de Ruiter label.
